Pelican Moto

Pelican Moto is a cartoon motorbike brawl racer that runs in the browser. You play a pelican on a rusty scooter, racing and brawling your way up a coast road against 12 rival birds and a goose cop, and stealing their weapons with your beak.

Pelican Moto is an arcade racer where a good slap matters as much as a good racing line. You ride a pelican down a pseudo-3D coast road in a pack of 8 birds, slapping, clubbing and shoving rivals off their bikes while you weave through traffic.

The pelican's signature move is the Gulp: pull alongside an armed rival and your pouch steals their weapon, whether it's a frozen mackerel, an anchor chain, a beach umbrella or a baguette. Keep it until you fall off. Rivals remember who robbed them.

A career takes you through 3 leagues on 5 roads, from a fish harbor at dawn to a lighthouse in a thunderstorm, where the Pelican King waits. Prize money and knockout bonuses pay for new bikes, gear and repairs. Officer Honk, a goose with a nightstick, fines anyone he catches crawling.

The game runs on desktop and phone browsers with keyboard, gamepad or touch controls. Its comic art and original surf-rock soundtrack are hand-coded.

Who made this

Pelican Moto is AIjentra's take on the motorbike brawl racers of the 1990s, rebuilt to open in a browser tab and starring a bird with a pocket for a mouth. It was built browser-first as a full career game, and its art, animation and soundtrack are all written as code rather than drawn or recorded. A Steam version is being built from the same game.
